50-Ton Rotator Recovery
When a heavy truck goes off the road, over an embankment or onto its side, a standard wrecker isn't enough. Cobalt Car Clinic & Towing runs a fleet that includes two heavy duty rotators capable of a full 360° boom rotation, letting our operators lift, rotate and place a load with precision that fixed-boom wreckers simply can't match. We provide rotator service throughout Northeast Ontario along Highway 11 from North Bay to Kirkland Lake, and 24hr response to Cochrane, North Bay, Haileybury, Cobalt and New Liskeard.
Our rotators are rated up to 50 tons and are staffed by certified, WreckMaster-trained operators experienced in the most demanding recovery scenarios — steep embankments, soft shoulders, guardrail entanglements and multi-vehicle pileups. Call our 24hr dispatch center now at 705-679-8500 to get a rotator crew en route to your scene.

Why a Rotator
A rotator's boom rotates independently of the truck's chassis, so our operators can position a load, swing it clear of traffic or terrain, and set it down without repositioning the truck itself. Paired with our MatJack air bag recovery system, this gives us the ability to safely upright loaded trailers and heavy equipment while minimizing further damage to the asset and cargo. It's the difference between a recovery that takes hours and one that shuts down the highway for a day.
Built for Highway 11
Centrally located in the Tri Town area, our rotator crews cover a 200km stretch of Highway 11 and respond around the clock, every day of the year. Whether it's a jackknifed transport, a rolled pickup off the shoulder, or a bus that's gone into the ditch, we bring the equipment and the experience to get it upright and moving again. For standard heavy truck towing, see our Heavy Truck Towing page, or for cargo and accident cleanup, see Heavy Duty Recovery.
